I love my friends

Thanks to my family and friends, I had the best birthday I remember having in a long time.

(note: I'm listening to Escape on XM radio, and if you're tired of your old lady just tell her, don't read the personals, you fucking fuckhole. I'm only sayin'!)

Anyway, back to my birthday weekend. I have more friends than I thought I had! And even though I said no presents, I still got presents. And? They. Were. Awesome. AWESOME, is what I'm saying! And my sister, god bless her, got me a Cinderella cake. I have to post the picture because it is too cool for school. She said in light of the events of the past few months she thought I needed to feel like a princess, so I got a princess cake, instead of a normal cake. She? Is the best sister ever. You can tell her I said so.

(I just picked up the phone, called her, and told her so. And! She had juicy gossip. This is why you should call your family regularly.)

Anyway, Angie got drunk off two and a half margaritas and I'm telling you, it was the funniest thing ever. We should have stayed and let her amuse us. Saturday morning, my friend Celeste, who couldn't make it Friday night, called me at 8 o'clock in the fucking morning and woke me up with this.

Me: Muloh?
C: CoooooooooKIIEEEE!
Me: Hey, Celeste.
C: I'm calling because it's not your birthday anymore. And to prove it, you get no special treatment today. That's why I'm calling you at 8am. It's not your birthday anymore! I'm a bitch!
Me: Oh. God.

Then she came over, and we listened to Nina Simone, Lucinda Williams, Etta James, John Hiatt, and Van Morrison while we sat on my couch and smoked. Saturday night, it was back to Angie's, and then Sunday I slept until late and got up and avoided homework the best I could (I did a fantastic job) and laid piled under the covers of my couch thinking deep thoughts.

Then I broke down and watched Extreme Home Makeover or whatever that show is with Ty Pennington. I've never watched it.

I totally fucking cried.

And then I went to a bonfire!

Whoooo! Birthday weekends rock my face off!
