My Man, Lafayette

It's a little over an hour until the season finale of the first season of TrueBlood. I'm glad I jumped on the vampire bandwagon, cause I've had a lot of fun watching this show. I am attached to all the characters (even though I'm mad at you right now, Sookie), but my absolutely FAVORITE character on the show is Lafayette.

I just want to pay a little tribute to LaFay on my blog, with some of my favorite scenes. Yes, you may get spoiled, but that's not my fault, it's yours for not watching this show. You better start, cause if it gets cancelled I'm holding all of you personally responsible.

The first one is how I first met and fell in love with LaFayette.



This next one is a shining example of his love and affection for his cousin, Tara. How could you NOT love a man who was so sweet to his family??



This? This one was our turning point. It's when I knew we were to be married someday, even though LaFay is what one might call... homosexual.



I'm so, so glad Alan Ball decided to flesh out this character more than Ms. Harris did in her books. He's brought me a lot of joy. Even my dad can't help but chuckle over LaFay's antics. This is the first time in a long time I've worried about a character. See, it used to be Xander on Buffy. I worried every season finale that he'd die, because Joss loves to hurt us and make us cry. Now, my worry is all about LaFay. He's getting mixed up in some bad stuff, y'all. I'm worried about him.
