10-4, Good Buddy

This weekend while I was laying in a muscle relaxer coma on my bed, I watched Mission Impossible III. I think I fell asleep or just got bored, cause I don't remember the ending. All I remember is all the way through the movie, they kept talking on their Super Cool Spy Headsets, and kept saying "Roger that."

I wanted to say "Roger that" to someone all weekend, yet I could not fit it into a conversation.

Today I got an email from an agent, thanking us for something and saying we were cool. He signed it with his initials, and then "over and out". So I? Replied "Roger that."

Sometimes it's just the little things that keep me going.

In other news I went to see Pirates III this weekend with Daddy-O and Suzie Q. It was bad. The first hour was boring, but I kept thinking it would pick up. Yeah, it really didn't. It was like they just shot all these scenes where they blew things up, and then scrambled them together. It didn't make sense.

And I HATE Keira Knightly. Does she ever close that big bass fish mouth of hers? SERIOUSLY. It just hangs open waiting for someone to take pity and shove a sandwich in there. And Lord knows that girl needs a sandwich.

Why does she have to scream so much in those movies? I thought it was just me hating on her until my sister turned to me and said "Does she have to scream all the time?"

Maybe I'm being mean. I mean, Keira could be a nice gal. And who knows, maybe pirate ships are just REALLY LOUD.

All I'm saying is.. can you just stop posturing so much? We get that you're a badass, Keira. Okay? Yes. You are a Very Strong Woman, whatever. But the more you keep trying so hard to be so tough, the more I start thinking you bought that Bad Ass Mother Fucker wallet at Hot Topic, and never really earned it.

So there.

One day, when you're not around to call me on it, I'm going to steal that line and say I thought of it. I'm just letting you know that now.

Then someone will quote it back to me when you aren't around, and I'll try to convince them I thought of it.

They'll never believe me, either.
