Hairy Pooter
I was reading news stories about Daniel Radcliffe today (yeah, SO? AND? You wanna start something with me about it?) and I read this little snippet where he talked about how he hated growing up on screen. He said:
"I had a hideous reaction when I saw a screening of Harry Potter and there was a clip from me in the first film and I just heard loads of girls go, 'Aww'. That was just soul destroying."
Soul destroying? Really?
Seriously??
You heard loads of girls say "Awww..." when they saw you on screen, and it DESTROYED YOUR VERY SOUL?????
Either my life is very, very bad, or your life is very, very good. Either way, I feel like I've gotten the shaft.
And not in the good way.

Uhmmm... huh. It's hard to know what to say about this one. Maybe 'soul destroying' means something else to today's emo generation? Like how bad meant good in ours?
"Dude, that new car is really soul destroying!"
...?
I'm reaching.
soul destroying?! what a fucking drama queen.

Poor dude. I'd hate it too, to be honest. I imagine it'd be like your mom pulling out the photo album and showing your potty training pictures to millions of people.
Also, from now on, whenever something is either really awesome or really terrible, it's going to be soul destroying.
