I Write The Songs. No.... ME.
I have composed a new song for Mojo. Since it's my very first Mojo song, I wanted to blog it so one day I could look back and say "Awww, remember that puppy I had for about a week until I couldn't take it anymore and threw him out the window?"
Wanna hear it? Here it go:

Yeah, it's short and simple, but in my defense it was 6:42 am and I was sort of delirious. Mojo woke up last night around 3am like "HEY! HEY! You wanna play? Now? Hey! Let's play!"
Also, he kept scratching himself, and I freaked myself out thinking it was a spider (I get them, it's an old house) and he'd been bitten and he was gonna die, and THEN I'd feel bad for saying I was gonna strangle him. I finally found a flea. Then I saw 2 more.
Then? I freaked. OUT.
Because the internet says that if you see one flea, that means you have 1,000 more laying eggs all up in your bed, shoes, vaccum cleaner, couch, ears, hair, pantyhose..
I couldn't stop thinking of fleas. I gave Mojo a bath which made him seem to feel much better. Great. Cause I don't feel better at all.
Anyone else have any advice? About the fleas.... not about my crappy songwriting.

Nicole wanted me to tell you about using some Brewers Yeast - you put some in their food and it makes the puppy not so tasty to them?

"Garlic, Brewer's yeast and onions are all flea deterrents when consumed. Probably easier for a human to eat than a pet but Brewer's yeast can be mixed into pet food to hide it. Check first that it is safe for your pet; it is fine for dogs. Dogs might also accept a combination of ground-up garlic and Brewer's yeast tucked deep into their food."
So maybe you could ask the vet about it? Because I just did a quick search on the advantage/frontline stuff and it looks like its between 7-8 mos. depending on size, etc..
fleas suck. literally.
When Frodo was too young for the flea stuff, the folks at Timberlake told us to bathe him in dishwashing liquid (like Dawn). Didn't hurt him but killed the fleas.
