More Jewelry Channel Shenanigans

Last night I went to dinner at Los Arcos with some girls from work. Daphne bought me a drink (~buy you a draaank~) and I could not taste the rum at all. So, I ask if they could maybe make it stronger. And, about halfway through my peach daiquiri, I think I found where they hid all that rum. It was in my circulatory system! The last place ya look...

It was somewhere around that point that someone pointed out that the TV in Los Arcos was playing CSI, and my boyfriend Warrick was on screen. All I remember was me saying "He's invessstigatin' his ASS OFF!" which seemed to amuse my friends and the waiter. That's my life - walking the fine line between obnoxious and cute.

I went home early and fell right to sleep. Oh, what a party animal I am. Asleep by 7:30. Someone call A&E cause I need an intervention! But then, someone sent me a text message around 9pm, and I ended up awake again.

So, me & Mr. Poops are watching TV, right? And I flip over to the Jewelry Channels to see what's up, and you will not believe "what had happened".

TJC is BACK. (in yo' face, Eric!) Oh, yes it is! I could not believe my eyes. They aren't mentioning that they're going off the air for good, they're just saying that they are "emptying the vault" and having a "liquidation sale" and that the prices are "so low that we aren't going to be offering the 30-day money back guarantee". But you better believe that that African Amethyst ring you just bought is going to look SO GOOD on your finger that you won't NEED to return it.

They also kept mentioning "for those of you that have just joined us", which makes me think maybe they just blanketed new markets to get rid of their s-h-i-t (that was spelled for Denise, who likes it better when I don't cuss). This morning things were selling out so fast that they couldn't even finish describing the jewelry. I'm happy to have my peoples back for a little while, at least.

I also conducted a little experiment last night. I thought, okay, if I have zombie dreams while I fall asleep to the jewelry channel, what would I dream if I fell asleep watching a zombie movie? So, I watched Resident Evil: Extinction until I fell asleep. I didn't have any bad dreams.

Probably because that movie is actually LESS scary than the jewelry channel.
