Netflix Can See Into My Soul

I often go into my Netflix queue and move things around because I've added, or I'm in the mood for something different. Everytime I do I look at the broad range of things I have in there and wonder, "How can a person who has "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" also want to see "Sid & Nancy"? So, in an attempt to have something halfway interesting to blog about, I thought I'd take the top 20 slots of my Netflix and try to uncover what it may say about me. How very self-absorbed of me.

Entourage Season 1 - likes cute boys and has a penchant for insider Hollywood gossip

Dynasty Season 1 - gay

Riding Giants - surfing documentary for the pothead surfer within (and also for Dad)

Sunset Boulevard - gay!!!

Homegrown - dedicated anti-drug advocate

Swingers - my ability to finally discover things everyone knew were cool 5 years ago

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory - gay pothead

Labyrinth - unloved as a child. David Bowie!

Bill Hicks Live - when I saw this I was surprised at my own coolness. Bill Hicks? Really?

Last American Virgin - Angie's best friend (oh, the sexual education of late-night movies. I'm looking at you, Fast Times at Ridgemont High)

Popular Season 1 - SO GAY (seriously! SO GAY!!)

Battlestar Galactica Season 1 - Liz'nChris's friend (I told you I'd watch it)

Bubble - an actual film! I can smoke my cloves and discuss the meaning behind it all

Donnie Darko - fallen under the GyllenThrall (can I trademark that phrase?)

American Nightmare - a documentary about horror movies? daddy's girl. also: nerd!

Fun with Dick & Jane - I am shamed by my like-ity of Tea Leoni

Rize - Oh! I have urban street cred, now! Whoooo!

Speaking of making plans, what are you doing October 6? That's your deadline for catching up on Battlestar and becoming a rabid fan so you're just as excited about Season 3 as me, by the way.
