Weekend!

Friday night I went to the Grand Opening (they had an opening, but this was Grand, dig?) of The Moxie. There was wine, there was cheese, there were debates about Pirates verses Ninjas. I must say, it was good for my heart, as the only friend I had that would talk about pirates or ninjas with me was an internet friend I've since lost contact with. Pirate Talk, it does a body good. I don't think the Pirate vs. Ninja debate is over. Laura blogged about it today. (you know I'd link but Blogger hates me and gives me errors when I try) Somewhere, at the Fleegan Rest Home, Laura will be saying "But Ninjas are trained to kill." and I'll put my teeth in just to yell back "Pirates have MUSKETS!"

*a spoiler, perhaps*

I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and let me just say that Pirates have way scary-cool voodoo women friends in Quasi-Louisiana swamps. Plus, any Pirate that can overcome the Kraken (it's practically done already) surely can best a ninja.. LAURA!!!

*end spoiler*

I hate Keira Knightly. HATE HATE HATE LOATHING SPEW HATE Why can't she eat a damn sandwich?

Oh, and apparently my inner gay man logged into my Netflix account because on Saturday I was all "Yay, Netflix!" and then.. what? The first disk of the first season of Dynasty, what? Who did this?! Oh yeah, it was me. Then I watched it and it was kinda fun. The first scene was a bridal shower and Krystal got a riding crop and "The Joy of Sex". These people.. they are *my* people...

Only it made me sad that we can't have storylines anymore that are based around someone being gay. Cause now? Everyone would be like "So? AND?!" In order to be dramatic now there has to be some sort of incest or beastiality and still.. V.C. Andrews, is all I'm sayin'.

Pirates Rule. Ninjas Drool.

I watched the pilot and it was interesting, but then after watching the Oil Part 3 and Honeymoon episodes.. I actually do like the show. I like Fallon.

I'm sure in the 80's that show was some drastic shit.

Joan (Miss Collins if your nasty) doesn't show up until the season finale. I can't WAAAIT! You are MORE than welcome to join me on my Dynasty run. I actually did think about calling you and/or Tami Sparks.

I'm also thinking of checking out Footballer's Wives.

So gay.
