Book 'Em, Danno
All I want to do lately is read. It all started with the "Twilight" series, which was an easy read. Then I wanted to read the Sookie Stackhouse books since I was watching TrueBlood on HBO. (I've read the first 3, they're fun)
When Daphne moved (sad face), she gave me some books, one of which was Rubyfruit Jungle (fantastic!) and another by Carrie Fisher. I love her sentences. I know that sounds like something Jaimie says, but I really do! I love her sentences. I want to hang out with them, and have coffee. I want to stay up late with her sentences and tell them everything there is to know about me. I'm so jealous of Carrie Fisher. I keep pausing during the read because I don't want to finish the book.
Right now I'm re-reading Watchers, by Dean Koontz, because I found it at Angie's house. It's not as good as the first time I read it, which was sometime in high school, I believe. It's still fun to read, though.
After I'm finished with that, and the Carrie Fisher, I've got three books to read. Two are by Joe Hill, 20th Century Ghosts, (a book of short stories) and Heart-Shaped Box, a novel. I also got this massive book of short stories - all zombie related - called The Living Dead. It has stories by people like Stephen King, Joe Hill, Neil Gaiman, Poppy Brite, Clive Barker, Dan Simmons, and even Laurell K. Hamilton.
You can borree it if you want.

Sean started reading The Hound of the Baskervilles last night, I really hope he likes it. He's alternating nights between Sherlock Holmes and Mad Magazine, how do you not love that?
Connor started Jack: Secret Histories. I expect it to be somewhat of an easy read for him, but I think he'll enjoy it. All Jack is good Jack!
I realized while reading Relic that I'd seen the movie. It was still a very good read, though, I loved the ending. It's been a while since I've seen the movie, so I wasn't too spoiled.
I'll be starting Reborn by F. Paul Wilson tonight. ~woohoo!~
cookie, we are OFFICIALLY Reading Buddies now.
*GASP* and i'm so relieved that someone else has fallen in love with sentences! isn't it amazing how AWESOME some of them are? and they're just... sentences. but they're like little pieces of art!
