Weekend News
I watched the last 20 minutes of the Roast of Pamela Anderson last night on Comedy Central. She did it to help raise money for PETA. Yes, please give the psychos with too much time on their hands more money. This irritates the fucking fuck out of me because while she gives money to PETA so they can lobby to change the name of Rodeo, California (because rodeos is bad's, oh my), people in the SAME city as her are... dying of diseases, starving, unable to find housing, attend school, feed their children, dying of addiction, abused & battered ... and she wastes money on fucking PETA. Grrrrr.. rabblerabblerabble...
So it made me gleeful to see her totally bomb at the end of the show. Man, her comic timing is horrendous. I almost felt sorry for her, because she seemed so awkward. I would have, if she would have given money to something I think (and it's all about me) is more worthy. Such as? Me! Because gas prices are high! Damn! I'm rioting in the streets if we have to start paying $3. Who's with me? I could camp out in front of Bush's Texas ranch to protest, but we've already seen he ignores that.
In other, less bitchy, news.. this weekend Alex got all his stinkin' boy stuff out of my house. My bedroom looks huge! And wow, is it beige. I can't stand it, it's already driving me crazy. I'm obsessed more than usual with HGTV trying to figure out what I want to do with that room now that I can do whatever I want. Thank you publicly to Alex for helping me rearrange my bedroom and changing the lightbulb in the Lightfixture of Mystery in the bathroom. And even to Nathan for making the bad pop-ups go 'way.
I gave in and went to SuperWalmart again, even though I said I wouldn't. That is the most evil corporation, and DAMN it's seduction of lower prices and convenience! *shakes fist at the sky, on knees, in the rain, camera spiraling upwards above me* You have not beaten me yet, SuperWalmart! Sunday afternoon I went to see Skeleton Key with my sistah, and lo, we saw Alex, Nathan & Ivy there. Dude, it's like it's a small world or something. I was entertained by the movie and most importantly, by Kate Hudson's hair. It should have it's own billing. It is so thick and shiny!
Seacrest out!
