I watched this great documentary last night on the Sundance channel called "Sluts." If you get a chance to watch it, you should. It was about the origins of the word, what it means, how it affects women that are called sluts when they are young, and self-proclaimed (and proud) sluts.

Plus, it features one of the stupidest men in Washington, Congressman Doug Ose from Sacremento, who wishes to outlaw 7 words from the airwaves. They meet with him to discuss how maybe the word slut should also be banned considering that being called a slut can cause lasting damage to a young girl. However, when they meet with him, he won't even let her get anywhere *near* saying the word slut, or any of the other 7 Deadly Words he has started a war against.

The proposal has the words bleeped out.. it reads

S -- ; piss; f -- ; c -- ; a -- h -- ; c -- s -- and mother -- .

That's Shit, Piss, Fuck, Cunt, Ass-Hole, Cock Sucker, and Mother Fucker.

But if Doug puts the dashes in, it makes it okay.

What is he, NINE YEARS OLD?! Is he afraid his mom will see that he knows how to spell The Bad Words?
