Angie had a c-section and she's doing fine. The baby wouldn't drop, and she was big, so instead of letting her sit in labor all night, they decided to give her a c-section. Ang was upset because she wanted to deliver naturally, and afraid. I was also terrified. TERRIFIED. They took her back around 8:45pm, and sometime around 9:30pm Dewayne walked by holding her to take her to the nursery. There were 7 women waiting in the hall in front of the nursery windows for that baby so I'm sure you can guess we barely let him by without hovering around her.

You guys, I'm not just saying this... she's beautiful. So perfect and small. I'm getting verklempt just thinking about it. We waited in the hallway watching her get her shots (she cried), her bath (she cried) and her first shampoo (she liked that). Then the nurse gave her a little mohawk. Hee!! We all stood there talking about how beautiful she was and knocking on the glass to remind Dewayne to take pictures. Everything she did was adorable.

That's pretty much how it went. Angie got back to the room at little after 11pm, and she was feeling okay. They brought Lyla in and we let Angie have a whole 10 minutes before we started passing her around. I got to hold her. She's incredible. I wish I could hold her all day and just stare at her. Oh God, I love her so much already. I'm going to spoil her. Thank GOD I'm marrying Vin Diesel so he can foot the bill.
