Dude, it's *MERRY* Christmas...

Someone at work, (we'll call her Molest) got this email from a friend of hers, that I hope to gosh never finds my blog cause I'm about to make fun of him. I'm sure that he is a VNP (very nice person) and all that, it's just .. okay, just read it.

"Dear Friends,

As many of you already know, I don’t believe in Jesus as the deity portrayed in the remaining gospels. I do however believe that he is based on a real person and I believe in the teachings that are attributed to him.

Ultimately, we are each all alone in this universe. Our individual consciousness merely shares this three dimensional space with other like entities. Our joy is in sharing commonalities with these other entities and acknowledging it.

It is important to love one another. It is the quickest way to express and acknowledge common beliefs, feelings, interest, and togetherness. It makes us less alone in this universe. It enhances our joy and the joy of all those we encounter.

Please remember this season to love – if only for an extra moment. Love those closest to you. Love the stranger on the street. Love those who have done you wrong.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I love you."

What? Whaaat?

There is no God. We are all alone in the Universe. HO HO HO, MEEEERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I'm going to tell all my friends this year, as I hand them their gifts:

"Now, just so we're clear, I don't believe in Santa, but here is a gift to temporarily fill the emotional void left inside of you due to the fact that you'll die alone. ALONE, I SAY!!"

So..

From my individual consciousness to yours..

Merry Christmas....

Well, I was *going* to make Christmas cookies with my kids tonight, but now I have to go find my Prozac.
