Tidings

I was just out Christmas shopping with The Angie, and even though it was pretty heinous, both of us made it out alive and with very few bruises.

Sometimes I think I forget that the reason I'm out buying presents and wrapping paper is because I'm lucky enough to have friends and family to buy things for, you know? It's like it all seems like some endless to-do list. It never ends. I have to go here, I have to do this, I have to make sure I don't forget this person, or to run this errand.. and when it really comes down to it.. It doesn't matter if I showed up with nothing. My friends would still dig me anyway.

To all my friends and family this Christmas:

If you needed me to go to the mall to do last minute shopping because you didn't want to go alone? I'd go.

If that doesn't prove my love for you, I'm out of ideas. Cause I mean, I could tell you I'd swim the deepest river, but chances are you're NEVER going to ask me to do that.
