I knew it!

Today I was late for work because I overslept and I got fired. Okay, I didn't get fired, but I was an hour late. The only thing that happened is that my whopping two voicemails and zero emails had to wait for me to call them back. And then my boss came over and pretended he was mad and I had to hear jokes all day about how they were gonna start giving me wake-up calls in the morning.

After I finished my two voicemails, I had .. *drumroll* one email. Whooooo! One email to work on all day. And then right at five o'clock I offered to fax something for someone so I'm still here waiting for it to go through. But I look all dedicated, and that's what matters. Not that I *am* dedicated but that I appear to be dedicated. I wonder if it really matters which one you are in an office job.

Most of my day was spent covering my mouth to keep from everyone hearing my guffaws as me and my friend Sonya sat here and talked about porn. I'd tell you what was so funny but .. you know how when you're bored you get delirious and stuff that is not ACTUALLY funny appears closer in your rearview mirror? It was like that. Then we played Wheel of Fortune on MSN messenger with Josh. When Josh had to go to work she went back to her desk so she and I could play.

And that.. is all that happened. Is it even worth blogging about? Nope. But did I offer something to help waste a few minutes while you're at work? Yes, and I'll wait for my thanks to pile up in my little comment box below.
