Justa buncha nonsense

I can't think of anything to write about so I'm just going to babble. And how will that be any different than any of my other blog entries? It won't. I just like to pretend.

I've seen a few movies lately and have fallen in love with a new show.

Land of the Dead - Oh fuck, why do I go see zombie movies? Huh? Why? They scare me so bad and I'm such a chicken. But still.. I go. I closed my eyes during most of the gory scenes so I didn't see zombies eating people-parts. My love-hate relationship with George Romero has intensified. Oh George, you scare the fuck out of me.. I hate you. And I love you for the same reason.

Session 9 - What the fuck is this movie about? If anyone knows, call me. It started out all good and creepy and ended up with me sitting there going "What? Huh? Did that actually happen? Is that guy dead? Who killed that guy? Where am I? What's my name? Who's my daddy?!"

Below - A ghost story set in a submarine. It was pretty creepy but as usual in horror movies the end just kinda fell apart. And it was annoying because all the actors are people that you say "Oh, I know that guy.. I've seen him somewhere. Where is he from?" So half the movie was spent sitting there wishing I was on IMDB. However! A submarine is a great place for a ghost story, and there were a few parts that scared the fuck out of me.

Cursed - Okay, I know. But it had Christina Ricci in it! And Kevin Williamson wrote it and Wes Craven directed it and it can't be that bad, right? Right?! Wrong. I am easily entertained and terrified of werewolves almost as much as zombies.... so I admit, there was some screaming for that bitch to "RUN! RUN, BITCH RUN!" But hello? She was in a parking garage! It was scary! Other than that scene, I didn't think it was too scary. And uh.. it had Scott Baio in it. So, weird. However... I really really love bad horror movies so when it replays on USA or TNT I will totally watch it again and I don't know why. I can't help myself.

Firefly - I am going to go back in time and kick my own ass for not watching this show when it was airing. Joss Whedon is a fucking genius and this show.... oh.. just.. LOVE! Little hearts are circling my head. I'm sending this show a Valentine. And maybe a box of candy.

Well it's weird up until you realize that in California it's customary to lick EVERYTHING, DVDs and TV screens included.

Don't judge my culture!
