Tidbits and Tadpoles

I have been so busy at work that I haven't been able to update my blog. It's almost like they pay me to work around there. The bad news is that I'm really frustrated, but the good news is that they really appreciate me. They don't just say so, they back it up with money! Whooo!

Alex and I signed our divorce papers. I'm really glad Pickle & Angie came over that night, or else I would have wallowed. (I waited and wallowed after they left. ) The weekend was spent shuffling around and occasionally crying. I caught up on watching a few movies I either borrowed from friends or just caught on tv. I saw "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days", "The Good Girl" and "Paparazzi". I rate them as follows: cute, unnerving and "Why, Tom Sizemore, Why?". On Sunday, I gave into the call of the Fox Reality Channel. It is like crack. CRACK, IS WHAT I'M SAYIN'!

Ovaltine commercials really frighten me on a level I'm not comfortable talking about yet. (why? why are their eyes so WIDE? stop it you are SCARING ME!)

I'm watching HGTV, which is my heroin. I love-love-love that they try to create drama on these shows. They always show a clip from the next segment that tries to trick you into thinking something big is going to happen. It'll be one of the homeowners saying "I don't know if we're going to finish in time!!" or "The paint color is NOT what I thought it would be!" or "I'm killing and eating all the puppies!" It's just always something that I can't really get that worried about. Oh no... will they finish in time? Will she like the paint color? Dear God where have the puppies gone?!

Ooooo, next on Get Color!.. the clip shows that they have a miscommunication with the upholsterer! DEAR GOD WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!?! I have to go watch.
