15 Years of This

I went to Angie's house today to do laundry and hang out. Dewayne had the baby, so it was just us, eating dinner and watching TV. We saw this Birmingham Suzuki commercial, which was really dumb. You know, like most local commercials are. Angie said:

Angie: I would never buy a car from him.

Me: Never, huh?

A: Never. Ever.

M: Sound pretty sure of it.

A: Not even if he wanted to sell me a Lexus for $299 dollars.

M: You wouldn't buy a Lexus from him if it was only $299 dollars??

A: Nope.

M: I have a hard time believing that, Angie.

A: Believe it.

M: What if it was a Lexus SUV?

A: No.

M: And it had a GPS Navigational System?

A: Nuh-uh.

M: DVD players in the back.

A: Nope.

M: I don't believe you.

A: I would NEVER buy a car from him because he's STUPID and I HATE his commercials.

M: Well, you should tell him.

A: I should.

M: If you told him, he might be all "God, THANK YOU, Angie, for being honest enough to tell me how stupid I am. I'd like to offer you a Lexus SUV with a GPS navigational system and DVD players in the back for only $299 dollars.

And that's when Dewayne walked in and asked what we were laughing so hard about.

We told him it was nothing.
