31 Flavors

Last Sunday I turned 31 and it was "the awesomes". I celebrated from Friday to Sunday with my friends, got home cooked meals that would just make you jealous if I told you about them, and received hugs and gifts and just an all-around feeling of love. What a nice birthday. Sometimes it's good to be me.

This year I received some really thoughtful gifts. In fact, all of them meant something to me because they were all so thoughtful. It's awesome to have friends that are willing to buy you stuff? But it's incredible to know that they've been listening. That they're willing to take time out for you. That they know what you might like even if you're not sure. That they know about your celebrity crushes and indulge them by buying you DVDs. It's just all blessings and pony rides, folks. That's what that is.

I finished the first Season of Lost. Oh, I didn't tell you I was watching Lost? That's cause I was TOO BUSY WATCHING LOST.

Geez louise, that show.

I'm watching disks, and I'm like "tra la la" this is so much fun. I'll do it when I feel like it. And then all of the sudden I'm talking back to the television. I'm sniffling. I'm falling in love. (Sayid, Sawyer, Charlie, Hurley, Jin. to you I give ~kisses~) I'm crying like a wee baby. I'm yelling out "What the EFF?" in my living room. Oh, the first one is free, kiddos. But you pay in the end. Oh, you pay.

I tried to give it up, and then I found a crashed plane in my backyard with Virgin Mary statues filled with season 1 disks. True story.

West told me to Google "worst fanfic ever" and read the first one that came up. It's a Harry Potter fanfic called "My Immortal."

"Voldemort got a dude-ur-so-retarded look on his face. “I hath telekinesis.” he answered cruelly. “And if you doth not kill Vampire, then thou know what will happen to Draco!” he shouted. Then he flew away angrily on his broomstick."

He flew away angrily. Oh, me. That was the best birthday present by far. I think I might try my hand at writing a really bad fanfic. Awesomely bad!!

OMG did you guys see the Rock of Love reunion show?? Jes is so cool. And hot. And tepid.

Lacey totally thinks she's Billy Badass, and she is SO not. You can tell her I said so, too. I'm not scared of her. I am, however, scared of PETA.

And they're gonna do a Rock of Love 2! I hope they invite Heather back.

Oh, and Heather? I know you won't read this... but I like your hair.
